ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Edgar Ndjatou, a partner at McCree Ndjatou, PLLC, specializes in employment law representing primarily employees as well as small businesses and non-profits. Originally, from Cameroon and raised in New York City, Mr. Ndjatou earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Economics, from Brandeis University. He received his Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law. Mr. Ndjatou is a member of both the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar associations. He is also a member of the bars for the U.S. District Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Ndjatou is involved in several professional and volunteer engagements. He is an Executive Board member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association and Co-Chair of the DC Bar’s Labor & Employment Law Section. He is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, Maryland Employment Lawyers Association, and Washington Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Ndjatou serves as a Board Member for Open Arms Housing, Inc.
Dawn Sequeira, Principal Attorney of Legacy Immigration, specializes in complex immigration. Ms. Sequeira has successfully represented individuals and corporations before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, The Administrative Appeals Office, the U.S. Department of State, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Ms. Sequeira earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Criminal Justice from American University and her Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law. Ms. Sequeira is admitted to the New York Bar, District of Columbia Bar, and the U.S. Supreme Court. In 2017, Ms. Sequeira launched a scholarship program with AAISCR to promote cancer research. In 2017, Ms. Sequeira was selected as one of the best lawyers by The Washingtonian.
